About a week ago, my mother promised to bring me to Sentosa on 21/6/2010 (Monday) to relax and release all my stress because i had been studying very hard for the entire June Holidays. The last time i went, was about 3 years ago!!! Hoping against hope, we wished that it would not be raining. However, three days before Monday, my mother had stomach problem and was sick. Thus, every night till Sunday night, i prayed very hard that she would be able to recover to bring me out to Sentosa. On that day itself, my mother looked and felt better. I guess my prayers were answered. We packed everything but, we did not realised that we never bring our camera!!! We do not want to waste time thus, we took the circle line and transfer to purple line to Vivo City. We rushed to the top floor, bought the tickets which caused $3 per person. The old, and slow monorail had now changed into a new, fast monorail! When we reached the Imbiah station, the merlion was above our heads. Now there is a water fountain below the merlion. As we know that we would be a long que when we reach the Luge, so we rushed to the Luge and bought a family package. 4 times on the Luge, and 4 times on the skyride at $29. i zoomed down the Dragon Trial twice, overtaking the slow 'tortises' on the way down. My mother was behind me. We sat on the skyride, and enjoyed the fantastic eagle's eye view of the horizon. Next, we made our way to Subway to eat our lunch. We then made our way to the tram to underwater world. The enormous spider crab was my mum's favourite, and the largest amazon fish was my favourite. At 2.30, there was a performance by the seals and at 3.30, there was a performance by dolphins. At 4, we made our way to the MOST INTERESTING PLACE IN SENTOSA. Guess what it is? It is the Resorts World Sentosa. It has four hotels, Festive hotel, Hard Rock Hotel, my favourite and two other hotels. We saw the Casino but never go in. There was many television screens on the walls, WORLD CUP. But, there was a LARGER screen and can watch it FREE! And the best of all, The Universal Studios. We did not go in, but we took a peep inside it. There were still some games under maintainence. The picture above is an evidence that my mum and i went there. It was FUN!!! I am so happy that my mother could recover on time and bring me there. THE END. Lol.
